Incredible Kerala Tour Plan

Kerala Tour

           KERALA - GODS OWN COUNTRY

How to reach: You can reach to Kochi or Trivandrum by flight. There is also railway connectivity to Ernakulam.
Kochi Airport is the first airport in the World to run by Solar Energy. It's surrounded with Coconut Trees and looks awesome. Here the beginning of spending 5 days in Kerala.

Best time to Visit: Kerala is best during winter season; we have planned our Kerala tour itinerary for 5 days 6 night in 1st week march. Best time to visit Kerala is from November to March.

Places I Have Traveled:
Day 1: After arriving in Kochi, we visited Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese Fishing Nets, Vasco Da-gama Square and St Francis Church. These places are all nearby to each other but it's around 40 kms from Airport and Railway Station.

Day 2: Next day morning we started heading to Munnar. Its 130 Kms and takes around 3.5 hrs. to reach Munnar. On the way we have visited Flower Garden, Spice Garden. There are lots of Spice gardens on the way to Munnar. In the evening we checked into the hotel "Misty Mountain". It has awesome view for Valley View Room. We have amazing Tea Garden View from our room. It's really looks like velvet of Green Land.

Day 3: By the way on day 2 we experienced rain in Munnar. It was really mesmerizing in the rain, and it felt like heaven on earth. So, today we traveled to Mattupetty Dam and lake. You can almost touch the cloud from there. In the lake you can experience boating and echo of your voice too. It was a relaxing day and spent most of the time soothing our eyes looking all the beauty before us. Evening spent attending Bonfire at the hotel.

Day 4: Today we have started in the morning to reach our next destination Alleppey. Distance from Munnar to Alleppey is around 175 kms and takes around 5 hours to reach there. On the way we had lunch with coconut oil made food. After reaching at Alleppey we checked into the Hotel and after few moments went for backwater boating. In Alleppey you can stay for a day only for backwater. We hired a small motor boat , it took around 3 hours to and fro go through the backwater visit. It was so splendid. We Visited the Vembanand Lake and it was like boating in the SEA.  So overall it was exciting journey through out the day.

Day 5:  Now this is time to leave Alleppey and heads towards our final destination Kovalam in our itinerary.  It's around 160 kms from Alleppey to reach Kovalam and takes around 4 hours by car. We stayed at Hotel Samudra which is government hotel and situated just beside the Arabian Sea. We had great leisure time there in Kovalam. In the evening we went out to have fresh breath at the sea and visited the Watchtower. Though we missed Poovar due to some blockings out there, but it was great time at Kovalam. There were so much foreign tourists and lots of sea food available at the sea beach. We enjoyed spectacular sunset from Kovalam Beach also the beach is so clean I have ever seen.

Day 6:  Today is the time to wrap up. We had flight from Trivandrum which is 20 kms from Kovalam that is around 30 mins by Car. Adieu to Gods Own Country with so much excitement and love.

Note: We have not visited Thekaddy , it has Periyar National Park along with Tiger Reserver You can add one more day with itinerary to visit this place and its around 92 Kms from Munnar which is closest.

This is how we spent 5 nights 6 days in Kerala.
